Transplanted some perrinals from my one garden, that is in serious need of a redux, and placed them under the dwarf cherry tree.  So far I have planted coral belles, lambs ear, and a yellow tinged leaf petite hosta.  I'm hoping to still find a copper colored leaf coral belle at Lowes tomorrow :-)

The cherry tree was covered in honeybees this afternoon, hopefully this means many cherries later this spring :-)  Am eagerly anticipating my first batch of sour cherry jam.

Garden Update

Well we are almost done with the garden fencing, one little bit left to be done tomorrow night - the kolrabi box at the base of our cherry tree. The green beans are popping up after the heavy rain we had last night. My lettuce looks like it'll be ready to pick in a week, can't wait!

Sour Cherries

Will post pics tomorrow, we picked about 4 gallons of sour cherries tonight. My friend, Becky, invited us down to pick the cherries at her place! tomorrow I will can them, it's a lot of work right now but will be well appreciated come January.
