Seedling Protection


John made this "cage" for me, it has screenwire mesh for the sides, to protect my seedlings from the chipmunks, mice, and birds.  He used reclaimed cedar, from a fence we salvaged, for the structure.

I'm hoping they will all make it if so I'll have a bountiful garden this year!

Hard White Spring Wheat Berries



White wheat berries make better cakes and breads, if you like the really soft stuff. It has more gluten than the Red wheat berries therefore allowing your dough to rise more.
