Silk Crepe de Chine

I think I may have discovered a solution to my problem, quilt batting that can be ironed onto the fabric. Since I had intended for it to have a backing this may work. My other option would be to use aquabond another nice option that won't ruin the hand of the fabric, or leave a residue.
