From the road!  I finally remembered to take a photo from the road today, I'm not getting out as much as I used to since I no longer have a vehicle.  This was taken at the Neal Smith Wildlife Refuge, they were doing a prairie burn today, near Prairie City, Iowa.

There's smoke off to the right, the DNR was doing a burn today.

Solo Show Hung

Hung my solo show in the "Ding Darling" Gallery at the Neal Smith Wildlife Refuge Center today.  It looks great, there will be info sheets hanging between the large panels.  It took us, Doreen and I, an hour to hang these panels.

I can see I need to work on my hanging mechanisms, it's picture wire on the back but for some reason they really lean forward.

Apple Pie

Apple Pie

Made an apple pie tonight using up some granny smith apples - it was tart and way yummy! As you can see there's not much left of it now.

My favorite pieces

This piece, the red one, looks most like a nebula, it's from the Carter Smith stash of fabrics, the one below also has nebula potential but isn't as apparent in the photo.
