Getting the Studio Ready

From this, packed in and hiding behind the stairs...

To this, now I can access my paint supplies that live in this blueish dresser.  The shelf needs to be wiped clean and it'll be ready to don my artwork for this weekends Ames Studio Tour!  I'll have John hang the pink niche, on the dresser, on the wall when he gets home from work.

At this point all I have left to do is dust, some more vacuuming, and get my artwork ready for Saturday.  Next week I shall sort the items on the shelf next to the dresser, and the stuff IN the dresser and send off to live with others!

Next up more marks and some crows of course.  I was hoping to have some new crow stencils cut out using my Silhouette Cameo but alas I am still having issues with the program.  Soon though, as in next week after this Saturdays Open Studio Tour.  In the mean time I'm cleaning and putting out my Corn Stitched Stories Series for the Tour.

What you will need to participate in this years

Art Crawl Iowa Virtual Studio Tour:

1. Currently live in Iowa
2. A blog and/or a website where you will post creative photos of your studio(s)
3. Brief artist statement and bio about yourself and your work.
4. A couple of images of your artwork.
5. List of galleries, etc., where we can see and/or purchase your artwork.
6. Contact email
7. Send me a link to your website/blog/page and I will add it to the list of participating artists here on this blog next Friday at  prairiefibers@hotmail.com

Western Teaching Tour

This coming fall John and I will be doing a four week tour of the west! During this time, from September 16th through October 10th, I have several workshops scheduled, if you would like to host me for a one to three day workshop during this time please let me know as I would love to add your guild, organization, school, etc., to my schedule!
