I will be live streaming this evening, I will be using Google Groupchat this time. In order to attend the live stream you have to be a member of one of my circles.
Here's the thing, somehow I have two google accounts, so if you type in my name and you see the above banner that is the correct account. Request to be a member of my circles and I will add you!
The good news, from last nights live stream, is my fruit fermentation reduction did happen late last night sometime! I will redux the fruit fermentation process in this evenings stream and hopefully there won't be any noise issues this time.
Until I can figure out how to combine my two google accounts please follow my Google+ with the accompanying banner photo! In order to include you in my live stream tonight you have to be in my "circles" on google. For some reason I'm not allowed to stream to the "public" and I cannot figure out how to create the invite linky...

I streamed tonight, such as it was... I say that because the audio kept dropping. I will be streaming tomorrow evening from another site and hopefully that will work out. Until then I posted in the Natural Surface Forum on the fruit fermentation reduction vat and about the earth pigments above.
Attempted my first ever fruit fermentation vat this evening, notes about this are over in the Natural Surface forum, I liked it a LOT! I streamed this session but was having a lot of issues with Ustream, so I will be streaming again tomorrow evening and from Google/YouTube Live instead of Ustream. I will post a link tomorrow for the stream location.
I also worked with some earth pigments in this stream, it's recorded but will say I'm not sure how much of the recording has audio.
I'm off to spend some quality time with hubs and my favorite pooch Angel. See y'all tomorrow evening!

This Sandstone piece has been in a bucket for the past decade, every once in awhile I dig it out and stare it it on my design wall (in my case my design wall is a bookshelf). Today's it's day, I've decided to seperate the two pieces of fabric and overdye the top piece with kutch, and maybe some kamala.
Detail, the reddish fabric is cochineal and rust dyed silk fabric.
Another Sandstone WIP that has been languishing in the storage bucket for the past 10+ years. It's mostly hand stitching on the surface, tonight I have plans to add some machine stitching and possibly a few layers of constructed cloth. This piece is small enough to experiment with pushing the surface.

Made sometime around 2000/2001 when I was on a pod making journey. Threads on water soluble fabric.
Front view of the pod sides.
Back view of the pod sides.
Now that I've found these pieces, and my pod pattern, I'm thinking of persuing these again. I stopped due to lack of time and lack of materials, i.e., at the time I didn't have the soluble cloth I really needed and now there are gobs of options available. Aquabond is my favorite water soluble stabilizer!

There is a good chance that my websites may be down come Thursday. At this point in time I'm figuring out a few things about my server farm and about WordPress, my websites are currently published using Front Page. Hopefully I will have an anwser tomorrow, and hopefully there won't be any down time... stay tuned for updates.

Slurry dyed, natual dyed, silk fabric, stitched into narrow rows, I will be adding the wool batting and backing fabric this evening and will start stitching tomorrow, I can't wait to see what emerges out of this piece.
Love the subtle undulations of the lines on this piece of chert, or is it flint, I don't remember.

To pay for your subscription click on the "Purchase" button, I have highlighted the button in the accompanying image, the button is white on white and barely visible, however, clicking the word "Purchase" will take you to the payment center.
I created a board for the network on Pinterest, you can find that board here: The Natural Surface
