More Antlers

Now that Deer Slayer is on it's way to it's new owner I am off and running with my next project.

The next project involves a gourd, pine needles, and antlers.

The copper nest is installed, now I'm having problems with the abalone egg, I've tried several wrapping techniques but nothing worked in a way that was visually appealing.  Will experiment further tomorrow, will also paint the tips of the antlers.

Ok decided that the antlers look best coming out of the side of the niche, now to find some screws and attach the antlers.

Trying to figure out how to attach the antlers permanently to the top of the box.  I'm thinking they need to be screwed into the wood some how, instead of just glued.
