Snow!

Tomatoes anyone???

Neighbors crab apple isn't doing so hot this morning.

That's a five foot tall burning bush under that snow, or it was anyway.

My beloved red oak, the branches are nearly touching the ground when they should be up another ten or so feet in the air.  It's this tree that I'm the most worried about at the moment, hopefully the wind doesn't bring it down!!!

Wind Damage at the Marsh

Lots of trees down at the marsh, we had some storms rip through here last week with high winds. 

One of the younger trees also came down in the wind storm.

And the pear tree lost, the Keifer doesn't seem to have sustained any damage though, the truck just a few scratches.

Fall in Iowa

The clouds were really wild looking when I took this photo, the wind turbines were a nice contrast to the soy beans.

Once a familiar site here on the prairie once numbering in the thousands they have all but vanished now.

Well my plants were damaged by high winds and hail I'm suprised I have this much left to be quite honest. The plants are missing so many vines they border on looking rather sickly!
